Meet Baba – a Lab with loads of potential and even more puppy energy! She is back in search of her forever family after spending six weeks in a home that just wasn’t quite ready for the whirlwind that is puppy teething. Let’s face it — raising a puppy isn’t for the faint of heart. Thankfully, instead of being abandoned, Baba was lovingly surrendered to Animatch where her second chance is already underway. We’ve promised her that the best is yet to come!

At just four months old, Baba is a blank slate bursting with possibility. She’s looking for an active, outdoorsy family who’s in it for the long haul — 12 to 15 years of love, laughter, and Lab-sized adventures. She needs humans who understand that raising a pup means early mornings, muddy pawprints, chewed slippers, and lots of training, but also endless tail wags, wet-nosed kisses, and a best friend for life.

True to her breed, Baba is full of bounce and curiosity. Labs are known for their enthusiasm and smarts, and Baba is no exception. She’s already showing signs of becoming a top-tier fetch champion and could thrive in dog sports like agility once she’s got the basics down. She's still working on her leash manners, so before she transforms into a 60-lb dynamo, now’s the time to teach her how to strut politely by your side.

Baba is social and playful, fitting right in with the dogs in her playgroup.
