Dobby here and do I have a tale to tell – no pun intended. I am from Nutashkuan where I was hit by a vehicle and although I made it out alive, I lost my tail. I have a very tiny bit protruding but I will undergo surgery soon to repair. Boy, it has been a rough week or two!

On the other hand, tails are so overrated. Whoever adopts me will soon realize the advantages. No senseless tail chasing from this guy. No worrying about some knucklehead stepping on my tail. No wiping out the wine glasses on the coffee table with some violent tail wagging. Stick with me – think about the good things in a situation rather than the bad.

Now I know you’re pondering, “how will he communicate”. No worries – my eyes will brighten, my ears will perk up, and my butt will wiggle like there’s no tomorrow. I guarantee that I can let you know just how happy I am. Where there is a will, there is a way.

After surgery, I should be back on my paws within a short time. Of course I won’t be doing any heavy duty exercise for a few weeks but hey that might be our time to really get to know each other and bond. I am only about one year old so you can count on a lot of years together making happy memories.
