Meet Henna. No need to explain what she has been doing most of her life. She was recently given her retirement papers and Animatch immediately opened their doors to this sweet Boxer.

Now merely feeling sorry for her isn’t going to help … at all. Adopting her will. We can’t change her past but we can build her confidence and ensure that from this day forward she has a wonderful life. She is ready to experience what most dogs take for granted – long walks, attention, human companionship, and so much more! In a nutshell, we are on the lookout for a family that will take her as far as she can go. She has already proved to us that she is ready, willing, and able!

Many things will be new to her – walking on leash, living in a house, going for a car ride – but so far, she is always game to try. Of course, there could be some toilet training to do; give her a little time and she will get it. This amazing dog who has spent years as an incubator is so ready to take that giant step into a home. Henna is being treated for keratoconjunctivitis sicca, also known as dry eye, with daily drops. She is responding well to the medications and has improved tremendously.
