I’m a Dane x Cane Corso mix who was brought to a safe place because my family underestimated the time required in raising an exuberant adolescent pup. Despite this setback, my spirit shines through. I am on the lookout for an experienced family who will take the time to let me settle in and then enroll me in training – we have some work to do. I am learning that humans appreciate me a whole lot more when I don’t use them as a springboard.

Within months my weight will probably double or triple and we all now that it is quite a chore to walk a big galoot of a dog who believes that the harder she pulls the faster she will get to her destination. For that reason, you must learn how to handle me to make our regular outings pleasant. I need daily walks to use my muscles in order to remain strong and healthy. Plus, sniffing is one of my all-time favorite activities and dogs should be given the opportunity to use their nose each and every day.

I absolutely love playing with the dogs in my play group; I might be too much for a cat though. After a day of activity and when I am all tuckered out, my new family will like that I can be calm and gentle. My happiest moments will be when I am with my humans.
