Queso

About Queso

Queso arrived with a posse of Chihuahuas that were surrendered to Animatch; simply because the person had too many dogs. He and his littermate Queso were recently adopted together; probably the wrong move on our part. They were just returned because …. two puppies are a lot of work (whatever size they may be). Animatch does not recommend adopting two puppies at the same time. We suggest that people focus on are training and socializing one at a time.

Queso at just 5 months old has already experienced an upset in his life. Dogs are so forgiving and Queso is no different; he will get over it. In fact, once he has found a Chihuahua loving family who is ready to commit to him for the next 15 years, he will be ecstatic.

Please do your research on Chihuahuas. They may be pocket-size but most have large personalities. True to the breed, toilet training may be a bit of a challenge. Time and patience and he will get there. Since most of these Chihuahuas were under socialized, it is important that he experiences meeting new people and encountering new situations. They have four legs that work perfectly, so no need to carry them everywhere.

At just 5 lbs., he is not a toy and children should be older and respectful of very small dogs.

If you feel that Queso might just be the Chi for you, please fill in the Application Form.
