Hi there! I'm Shakur, and I'm here at Animatch with my brother Tupac. We recently arrived because, well, the "sale" of dogs has really dropped, and we were considered surplus. Luckily, we ended up at Animatch – a true safe haven, and for that, I'm very thankful.

Grooming wasn't a big deal where I came from, and neither was training, so I'll need plenty of both throughout my life. I'm a little shy at first, but give me a minute, and you'll find I'm best friend material. I get along well with other dogs and would be okay with sturdy children too.

Being a mix of two very active breeds – Australian Shepherd and Standard Poodle – I need lots of exercise. Runs, hikes, chasing a frisbee, retrieving aball – I'm up for all of it! Since I'm a diamond in the ruff with no training yet, the sooner we start, the better. Just give me a liver treat as an incentive, and I'll make you proud.

In the right home with the attention and commitment I so desperately need, I promise to be the best friend you could ever ask for. I never want to be homeless again.
