Ozzy has a home!
Ozzy arrived at Animatch on December 31, 2021 … no New Year’s Eve celebration for this frightened pup. She was only 7 months old and had been adopted as a pup. After four months, It just wasn’t working out because she had some fear issues.
Animatch knew very soon that she needed help beyond what we could provide and we knew just the person to contact …. Virginie Forest, at *FIC. Virginie had come to our « rescue » several times before with amazing results. She and her students just never give up and saw the potential in Ozzy. All at FIC, including students past and present, learned to love and accept Ozzy. None of us expected that it would take nearly 4.5 years to find the perfect match.
Ozzy needed a person who would give her the time to go from being a complete stranger to her beloved human. With Virginie and Brendan Dacosta’s help and determination and the right person, it happened.
Animatch and our Volunteers are filled with gratitude for this amazing feat. Thanks to Virginie, Brendan, and all the FIC students who have passed through their doors and spent time with Ozzy in the past four years. But most of all, thank you to the person who has opened her heart and her home to Ozzy.
Long and happy life Ozzy.
