One application is enough!

We love your enthusiasm for adopting, but we’d like to remind everyone that filling out multiple applications does not increase your chances of adopting. It’s not a lottery! In fact, it actually slows down the process and makes it harder for us to match dogs with their perfect homes.

Good news! If you’ve already applied and are interested in a different dog, you don’t need to start over. Just send us an email with the name of the dog(s) you’re interested in. Your application stays active for two months and remains on file even longer.

While the little non-shedding puppies get lots of attention (sometimes hundreds of applications!), many wonderful dogs are still waiting for their chance. Consider one of our adult dogs, or if allergies aren’t a concern, a dog that sheds. Expanding your search could lead you to your perfect match! You can also check out other rescues on Petfinder.
