Meet another one of our awesome Musketeers. D’Artagnan arrived with three of his littermates when he was just a few days old – another unplanned pregnancy (oops!). Their birth mother was not caring for the pups properly. One of our awesome Foster Moms stepped up – without intervention they would not have survived. Round the clock bottle feeding and plenty of other tasks required when working with newborns made their care a full-time job.
In the absence of the puppies' mom, Foster Mom took on the challenge and we now have four amazing pups. They will be ready to move on to their forever families very soon. D’Artagnan is on the lookout for a good human who will love him as much as his Foster Mom. He has grown accustomed to patience, kindness, and lots of encouragement.
D’Artagnan will need what all puppies demand – lots of attention, patience, exercise, and a 10-to-15-year commitment. He has lived with cats and other dogs and has had his fair share of interactions with the two leggeds.
