Hello, my name is Finesse, I am super friendly, smart, and an all-around sweet dog! I can’t wait to be a valued family member and thanks to Humane Society International (HIS), my dream will soon become reality.

On November 15th, within days of my arrival, I gave birth to 8 puppies here at the Animatch Centre. Now that we are here and such cute little furry bundles, Animatch will find us committed homes although we truly don’t need more puppies being born. Anyone involved in rescue knows that the only answer to this overpopulation problem is sterilization. This will be my last litter … you can count on that.

I am still very busy for the next few weeks feeding and caring for my puppies. I have so much to teach them before they are ready to go off into the world with their new families. My wish for them is that they grow up to be healthy and well-balanced dogs. So, for now, I am totally devoted to raising them.

My future should include lots of physical activity; be prepared -- rain, snow, cold doesn’t bother me. I love it and I’m always ready to go out and walk, run or hike! Although a bit shy at first, I do enjoy getting to know new people and friendly dogs. I’ve come to appreciate clean, dry bedding, toys and Nyla bones, tasty food and fresh water.

I will need your guidance and patience with plenty of things. If you look forward to doing training using positive reinforcement (i.e. delicious treats), I can rise to super dog status.
