Some dogs have all the luck!  From puppyhood to their senior years, they are treated with love and respect.  Good food, fresh water, play time, belly rubs, and humans who commit to their happiness and well-being.  Animatch’s vision is a world where ALL DOGS are treated with value, empathy, and kindness.  Needless to say, we are not there yet.  

My first few years were a struggle but I’m about to become one of those lucky dogs.  A dog who has humans to care for her.  I’ll never go hungry or have to scavenge for food again.  Best of all I will have a family who will give me the security and commitment that I crave.  As you will see from my photo taken in Armenia, I was emaciated and furless when I was found with my two puppies (they went to another rescue and have been adopted).  

My recent photo shoot shows a real transformation, I now have silky soft fur and I am no longer emaciated.  These piercing eyes that will be following your every move – you must take the lead.  Though I am calm, I can also be a bit anxious.  I’m really quite bright so when I figure out everything is okay, I can be a total lovebug.  The person who adopts me must understand that this will be my first real home.  It may take a little time for me to be comfortable and at ease; so, my human must give me the time I need.  Not a great deal of commotion will help me settle in faster.  

I definitely have a fun side and you will see more of it as time goes on.  You will enjoy my entertaining nature on walks where I love to sniff around and gather information.  It’s amazing what dogs can learn from a walk.  In time, obedience training classes would be fun too.  I am a faithful girl who will show affection and love for you once I have been given the time to bond.
