Good morning everyone!Hope you're all well. It's been a while! I just wanted to let you know that Lex is doing well. He'll be 12 this year and he's still rocking it! He came out of retirement this spring and is back in action with Therapeutic Paws of Canada, visiting the Manoir Beaconsfield and its residents. Although some days are tougher than others for Lex, the seniors really relate to another 'senior' that has hip stiffness (patella) and a heart condition! I'm still amazed that we have been blessed with such a wonderful dog! His heart condition is making harder for him recently and he seems to struggle with chronic lung infections since last week :-( The vet assures me that he is comfortable but that we have to keep an eye on him. In the end, we've adopted Lex's philosophy: enjoy everyday like it were the last.So here's a picture of him and I, getting ready to visit this spring. Thanks again Helen for having given the opportunity to take in Lex, back in 2005! I'll be sure to keep you updated on his condition.Very best regards,Racquel, the Lex, aka The Lexmeister, aka Le Thérapeute, aka Mr. Barker! Oh, and Miguel of course, he send his regards!
