Roscoe, an old dog

Hello Animatch, We adopted our dog Roscoe from you in 2007. He was underweight, shaved down because he'd been so matted and had kennel cough and an under bite: naturally we fell in love. It's been 8 wonderful years, and today we are heartbroken as we are about to put him down. He's seen us through moves all over the country, the birth of our daughter 5 years ago, and had always been a warm cuddle bug we could count on. He's been declining for about a year, thyroid, kidney and vision issues. In the fall he seemed to improve so much that we thought we may get a few months, but in the last week he declined sharply. As sad as we are, we want to thank you for matching us with our perfect dog all those years ago. He's enriched our lives more than I can say. Thank you!
