Patsy, the perfect Poodle (formerly Gaya)

We adopted Patsy (formerly Gaya and frequently called PatsyDoodlePoodle) in April of 2012 and it has been a match made in heaven ever since. I've had a lot of dogs over my lifetime and she is one of the very best! A Standard Poodle who was very anxious when I first got her, she very quickly turned into an outgoing, friendly, happy dog who is not only a genius but a certified clown. She had apparently been alone all day long prior to coming to live with us and has blossomed as she now has her people nearby all day long (we work at home) and lives in the country where she can run and play and go for long walks, snowshoe expeditions and pull her "trottinette" (kicksled) in winter, which she adores! She loves other dogs, is a total athlete and has made me appreciate a breed I had never previously even considered owning. We just returned from a week in the Magdalen Islands with her where we lived in our mini-schoolbus-turned-camper, played music in pubs at night, and ran with her on the beach. She is the most patient, easy-going, fabulous traveler I've ever known. We're SO happy to have adopted Patsy from Animatch!
