Hello, it’s me, Kuudjuk, I am one of Wilda’s pups and easily recognizable as the best looking dog in the pictures. I am growing up fast and have a lot of fun running with my big brother or playing with my cat (you do not have to ask the cat if he likes me playing with him… of course, he does, just take my word for it) and making friends at doggy daycare. I am currently a graduate from puppy classes and have just started obedience classes with my human (of course, she is the one needing training, as she is sometimes quite slow when I ask her to do something – but I do enjoy accompanying her and be assured that I will make her practice). My big brother and I are working on a project: we are building a tunnel in our backyard to reach Siberia, as we find the temperature a bit too hot at home and we hope to have completed by next summer. Don’t tell our human, she keeps filling back the holes she sees…but we have one going she has not found yet… My human is saying I got the best character traits of each of the breeds that compose my DNA (except for barking: apparently huskies do not bark... I have to remind her that I am a Nordic dog, not a pure bred husky and I quite like the sound of my own voice, not sure what her issue is but I am working hard on her training – if she was obeying quicker, I would not have to bark...). She also believes that part of my DNA must include some Tasmanian Devil... and it does not show on the DNA report just because they tested only for dog breeds...Not sure why she would believe that... Running, playing and sleeping at night in the same bed as my human and my big brother (would you believe it, at first, she wanted me to sleep in a crate – so I did it, to make a good first impression… but the bed is sooooooooo much better: me made a deal, if I do not pee, I can sleep on the bed – that was a great deal for both of us!) are the highlights of my days. My only complaint is about the weather: this is too hot, despite air conditioning, but I have been assured that winter will be coming and I am looking forward to running in the snow (I have already started practicing pulling, although, apparently, in obedience class, it is better to heel… that’s OK, I can do that an hour a week!).
