Merlin’s Log, July 27th the year 2013 - AKA NOMAD

It's been two weeks since I left on my new mission. My thoughts are with my crew back at Lori Headquarters, I am sure they are holding up ok without me. The decision to leave them behind was not made lightly but it had to be done. This latest "traveller" they have me in is definitely an older model, but my two navigators seem to know how use the outdated technology and they make sure I arrive at my plotted destinations with all the supplies I need. I've heard rumours of a possible upgrade, but I'll believe it when I see it.The head navigator has me surveying the surrounding terrain at an ungodly hour of the morning. I'm debating staging a coup. It shouldn't be too hard to get the other crew member on board, he doesn't seem to like the early morning rises either. My days are filled with interrogations (that suspicious dolphin has forced me to un-stuff him but he still won't give up the location of the treats), and with leisurely walks to shake off the confusion surrounding this inedible bone I have found. Evenings are reserved for recruitment. There seems to be a large selection but something tells me the dog park, as I've heard it called, isn't the best place to find willing participants - so far they all have their own navigators. I won't write this place off just yet though, there's lots of information to be gathered and it's a great place to keep my running and jumping skills honed and in check.Having been fondly coined Buds by my navigators I thought it only polite to return the gesture, Mom and Dad seem to suit them just fine. I've grown quite fond of them over the last couple of weeks. They have picked up the communication skills I expect of all my crew members and they have managed to teach me some of their own commands. They play and take me for walks pretty much on command now and I have learned to know when they want me to sit, stay, lay down and come. Mom keeps mentioning something about agility training, I'll have to look into it more closely before committing myself. There were a few bumps in the road when this adventure started, but I think I have finally found a permanent crew to back me up on all future adventures. Mom and Dad have promised to always have my back, I plan on holding them to it.To infinity and beyond. This is Merlin signing out. End Log
