Andy earns her FMX!!!

Andy, originally Cocotte was adopted from Animatch in May 2013.At 115pounds she was seriously overweight and out of shape. She was also untrained and overwhelmed by the world and other dogs.Today she is a svelte 72 pounds and participates in rally obedience, agility, and her favorite, flyball. She has raced on the Dogsworth flyball team for the past two years and last weekend reached 10,000 points, earning her flyball master excellent title. Flyball is an exciting dog sport where two teams of four dogs each race relay style over a 52 foot course with four jumps to hit a box that throws out a tennis ball.they turn and return over the four jumps with the ball in their mouth to ideally pass the next dog nose to nose at the start /finish line. Each dog on the team earns 25 points if the four dogs all run successfully under 24 seconds. Its all timed to the thousandth of a second with lasers! Flyball is a grat activity for medium to high energy dogs who like to play fetch and/or tug.Check out the Dogzworth flyball team-we practice and race on Nun'sIsland.Did I mention one of the side benefits from flyball training is an awesome recall.
