A Male Bichon Frisée x Maltese presently Adopted

Zam here and although I am 10 years old, these Bichon and Maltese genes just don’t quit.  You can expect many more years with me.  I had a family but they felt I was no longer welcome because I snapped at the children and my barking also annoyed them.  Had they brought me to the Vet, they might have understood why I was grumpy.  A few days after I arrived at Animatch I had surgery to remove a huge (the size of a nickel) bladder stone.  So, in my defense, I was not comfortable.  Most humans couldn’t tolerate grabby hands and the endless energy of young children if they were trying to pass a stone.  To be on the safe side, an adult-only, low traffic home where I will be allowed time to warm up to strangers would best suit me.  When I am comfortable and feel safe, I will be bubbling over with love and affection for you.  I do like to get gentle scratches behind the ears and would enjoy cuddling beside my human when we relax.  I do enjoy my daily walks around the neighbourhood and strolls through the park; I do still like to work on my fitness.  And, yes, my family was correct about the barking – I do revel in sounding the alarm.  For that reason, I am not a candidate for condo or apartment living.  I get along with other dogs but would also be happy as your one and only.  I’d like to be your best friend, lap dog and snuggle buddy.  If that’s what you’re looking for, then please fill in the Adoption Form.
