A Female Mixed Breed presently Adopted
My name is Wiki and even though my last family loved me, they were going through a difficult time and could not keep me. I lived with them for a few years; they took me from an abusive situation and tried to do their best. I’m on the lookout for an experienced, calm, and patient guardian with a gentle hand. I am insecure in new situations and because of my past, sudden movements and loud voices overwhelm me. As the days go on, I am gaining so much more self-assurance in my life. I sense that obedience training classes would go a long way in boosting my confidence and what a fabulous way to strengthen our bond. Training would also help out with my leash manners which are quite lacking. Daily walks and playtime are a must – I need to exercise my body as well as my mind. I enjoy a good game of fetch; if you’ve got the arm, I’ve got the legs! I have lived with children but I believe that I would appreciate an adult family or one where children are teenagers and know how to treat a dog with respect. I am great with other dogs and another well-balanced, calm dog might help me. If you have a dog-savvy cat, I am familiar with the species. In fact, I used to chase my feline sibling from time to time. A devoted family, an active lifestyle, and a long-term commitment, that’s all I ask. Are you up for it?
