West

A Female Labrador-x presently Adopted

West here and although I posed like a supermodel for my photo shoot, this girl is no diva.  I’m a friendly, bouncy puppy who just wants to be part of a family.  I’d be a perfect companion for a family who enjoy taking long walks or runs on a daily basis; I may even like swimming in the summer.  My dream is to be part of an energetic pack who will include me in many of their activities.   I am told that I have an alert, inquisitive nature and I am confident that I will excel at obedience training.  Right now, I’m best at play, play, and more play!  I’d love to go to a home with a dog who has my spirited get-up-and-go; we can tire each other out.   I’ll make a wonderful companion to any family who is willing to make a 10 to 15-year commitment.  Rumour has it, those types of homes are not always easy to find.   By the way, I am very proud of my Northern heritage and thanks to the Nordic Paws Project, my next stop is my furever home.  My littermates, East, North, South are looking forward to a life filled with adventure. Mom who has been with us through this entire journey has brought us up well.  I am far too young to be left alone all day; a few hours is plenty.  So, what do you say?  Don’t I sound just perfect?  Please fill in the Adoption Form if you have what it takes to offer me my first real home.

Am I ready for a dog?

Adopting a dog is a life-changing event--or should be. A dog needs lots of time and attention and you've got to be there every day to give it. So, BEFORE filling out the Animatch adoption form, find out whether you're ready for a dog, or would be happier with a goldfish instead: Fill this great questionnaire now to find out if you are ready for a dog.
