A Female Mixed Breed (Greece) presently Adopted

Villy here and I must admit that I am still adjusting to this overwhelming environment – you can probably tell by my worried expression that it is all a bit daunting!  I was a street dog in Greece and made the long trip with my pal, Stathis.  I am on the lookout for a family who will help me to overcome my fear and live life to the fullest.  I long to have a home where I belong with people I can love – it’s the Canadian dog’s dream, isn’t it?  I get along with other dogs and I believe that having a canine buddy would really help me adjust.  I have not been around children but I suppose older, respectful children would be okay.  I hear that walks around a neighbourhood, along with a whole lot of sniffing, can be so much fun.  An energetic or moderately active home would be right up my alley.  If you adopt me, can we sign up for obedience training?  I want to be a social, confident dog and I’ve been told that training will really help.  I can get spooked at sudden movements or weird noises but that is why I want a family who will help me overcome my fears.  If you have a yard, it would be safer if it was completely fenced.  I was so lucky to be chosen to make the trip to Canada; but now I need one more lucky break and that would be to find a family to adopt me.  What do you say?  Do I sound like the perfect dog for you?  Please fill in the Adoption Form and ask for Villy.

By the way, these rescue missions don't take place without a lot of dedicated and compassionate people behind the scenes.  Thanks to Compassion Sans Borders.  You can visit them on Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/compassionsansborders/
