A Female Rottweiler-x presently Adopted

Do you have a lonely spot that is just waiting to be filled?  I may well be the one for the job.  I arrived not long ago from a Northern Community, thanks to the Northern Paws Project.  Since I’ve never had a real home, I can be somewhat aloof and I am excellent at playing hard to get.  I feel uneasy about being overly handled, so I ask that you take things slow and easy at first.  Sure, I may be shy but I also have some wonderful qualities – I am sweet, clever, loyal, and chock-full of love.  At just 1.5 years old, I am positive that continued training and socializing will indeed help me overcome that nervous feeling when I first meet people.  Older children would best suit me since I take a little time to trust new people and grabby hands would be no match for me.  I would enjoy going to obedience training as I feel that developing a bond with my human companion is important for me.  Long walks or hikes would be fun; I’ll need daily exercise in all kinds of weather.  I get along with laid-back dogs but I am overwhelmed in crowds of the rough-housing types.  You know something? You could possibly be the one to offer me the forever home I’ve been dreaming of!  There’s only one way to find out … fill in the Adoption Form and let’s see what happens.
