A Female Pug presently Adopted

Sunshine suits her name to a tee; how could we not help this loveable Pug.  Despite the cloudy eyes and grey muzzle, she deserved so much more than to be tied to the door of a Vet’s office on a damp, rainy night.  A quick exam showed that she has a mouthful of rotten teeth, very cloudy eyes, a heart murmur, and worst of all she has a huge bladder stone.  In fact, she spends most of her day trying to urinate.  Tomorrow Sunshine is on her way to the Lasalle Veterinary Hospital to have the stone removed, teeth done, and whatever else she requires to make life worth living.  This needs to stop happening.

Animatch cannot turn their back on all the Sunshine’s that need our help.  Everyone should know that in addition to the cost of adopting, a dog requires a financial commitment to her health and well-being.  You must also factor in the costs of unexpected or emergency vet care over and above the cost of routine care.  While the benefits of having a dog far outweigh the costs, every responsible guardian knows that along with love and companionship comes financial responsibility. Sunshine is undeniably forgiving and sweet.  She is ready to put this bump in the road behind her; her eyes tell us she trusts that the humans who now surround her will care for her and keep her from harm.  Once she is ready to go to her home, Sunshine will no doubt enjoy a walk around the neighbourhood and then she will be quite content to sit and bask in the sunshine.  Are you looking for a dog that is past the crazy puppy stage?  Sunshine will soon be ready to start her new life and the person lucky enough to adopt her will have many years of her complete devotion and loyalty.  In return, all Sunshine wants is your love for the rest of her life.  Please fill in the adoption form is you would like to adopt Sunshine.

In order for Animatch to help Sunshine and all the other dogs who are in desperate need, they count on you – their cheerleaders and supporters – for financial assistance.  No one likes to keep asking; on the other hand, the only alternative is to stop helping injured dogs – and that won’t happen.  Consequently, despite it being a very rough year financially with our eviction and subsequent building of a new Animatch Centre, we are still depending on your generosity to help.  Please donate so that Sunshine can receive the care that needs so that she can be wanted and loved at last.
