A Male Miniature Dachshund presently Adopted

As long as I can be by your side, I am on cloud nine. My name is Slinky and underneath this handsome exterior lies a lovable little guy waiting to fill your heart with companionship.  I won’t mind sharing my home with other dogs, or respectful children 10+.   I am really getting the hang of this whole crate training thing.  We Dachshunds are notoriously difficult when it comes to toilet training, so patience and consistency need to be two of your strong points.  The important thing is that I get a forever home with a family who sees me for more than my stunning good looks, one that is committed to giving me all the loyalty, guidance, and training I deserve. I need to work really hard on my leash manners; see I have this thing called leash reactivity which means that I get really defensive if I meet other dogs on leash.  Off leash, no problem some of my best friends are canines. So, definitely we should enroll in obedience training; I’m ready for all the reward-based training that you are ready to give me!  No condos or apartments for me, thank you.  That is the reason I was given up by my previous family; neighbours complained about my barking.  So, there you have it – all the information you need before making the decision to adopt me.  Fill in the Adoption Form and I just might choose you.
