Rooky

A Male Mixed Breed presently Adopted

Rooky here and if you’d like to state your case as to why you would like to adopt me, I’m all ears.  When I first arrived, I was so frightened and wondered why this was happening to me.  Every time a human approached, I warned them to stay away and that I meant business.  Well guess what?  They didn’t give up and kept talking to me softly until I finally realized that these humans meant me no harm.  I don’t mean to get all sappy, but I really felt the love!  Now that I am ready to move on I really am on the lookout for someone to make me happy again … someone with a big heart and a nice lap that I can crawl onto.  You have to go slow and easy as I will probably be scared when I first arrive at your home but with gentle words, patience, and cuddling, I’ll come right out of my shell and I’ll be standing proud in no time.  I would do better in an adult home or one with older, respectful kids who understand that I need space.  I promise to be the best friend you ever had.  If that is what you are looking for, then by all means fill in the Adoption Form and ask for Rooky.
