A Male Husky-x presently Adopted

Odin is my name and although I am not even three months old, I have been through a rough patch.  I found myself in Animatch’s care after a Good Samaritan brought me here.  He saw my photo on a website whereby the people who had me and my littermates were requesting help as they could not afford treatment.   My eye was popping out and I was in agony.  A caring person saw this and after taking me to Vet himself brought me to Animatch.  Originally, it was thought that my punctured eye was as a result of my Mom picking me up; now, we are not so sure.  The eye has been removed but my other eye has an ulcer and it is felt that I have very limited vision in the remaining eye.  The good news is the pain is gone and Animatch has assured me that blindness does not make a puppy unadoptable.  Even though sight might be a human’s primary sense, not so for dogs.  If I can smell my food, taste those liver treats, hear your voice talking to me, I’m enjoying life.  I love walks, belly rubs, meal time, play time and more.  You can make life even more interesting with scented toys and balls that jingle so that I can enjoy a super game of “fetch”.  I would benefit from living with a sighted dog as I will use him as a guide to finding my way around.  Apart from that I just need what all puppies demand – time, patience, love and total commitment.  Don’t forget I’m a dog first and blind second.  I may not see your face but I can definitely read your heart.  If you feel you have what it takes to adopt me, please complete an Adoption Form.
