It’s been a long and winding road, but I dream of happiness on the horizon.  I recently made the trip from the Dominican Republic after being homeless with my two puppies.  My puppies are safe with their new families and I am the one who now deserves a shot at true love.  Animatch felt that I would benefit from some individual attention so they called in the Chihuahua Whisperer (aka Foster Mom) and I am happily sharing my temporary home with other dogs and cats.  I must say that I prefer Chihuahua size dogs to my big galoot of a foster brother.  I ask that children be 12+ and very respectful of me; at 3.5-lbs I am fragile.  I am nervous girl and I need to be introduced slowly to people before I am comfortable with them getting all handsy.  I am eager to love and eager to trust but a home with another dog (I’d love a Chi brother or sister) will certainly help boost my confidence.  Of course, more socialization will do wonders.  Whoever adopts me must accept that I will need some work on toilet training – before now, it really didn’t matter.  If you live in an apartment or condo, I cannot move in with you.  For a 3.5 pounds dog I have a very BIG voice and I would not be welcome.  Can you dream a little dream with me? Will you walk with me hand and paw, build me up, give me the life I have so longed for? A life of stability and security.  If the answer is yes, then please do fill in an Adoption Form.
