A Male Husky-x presently Adopted
I'm back .... I'm young, I'll get over it! Next time Animatch will get it right. Sometimes an adoption just isn't meant to be. I'm a young, rambunctious, adolescent who drove two middle-aged small dogs and the cat to distraction. I was having fun, they weren't! So here I am. I love to roughhouse so if you have a dog, he needs to be about my size. Forget about cats ... how can you not chase them! If you are looking for a gorgeous dog who is ready to pledge his loyalty to you, then consider adopting me.
Mickey’s family had good intentions when they bought Mickey off an internet site. He was just the dog they had been looking for – cute, friendly, medium size (would not grow to be more than 40 lbs.). They acted responsibly and had him vaccinated, microchipped, de-wormed, etc. They did some training and they were even going to have him sterilized but their Vet recommended waiting. Of course, he was great with their 4-year-old when he weighed 5 lbs. The seller asked no questions (they rarely do) – it was of no concern that the family had no yard for the pup, had a young child which might mean that the dog would not get the training and exercise required for a high-energy breed. The “breeder” had no interest in educating or ensuring that this sale had all the makings of a forever home. After payment is made, that’s it insofar as the Vendor is concerned. Selling pets on websites is attractive to careless and irresponsible “breeders” and scammers.
Mickey at six months old weighs 40 lbs. and undoubtedly will double his weight in the next year. Our best guess is that he is a Husky mix. Mickey definitely needs a little work on toilet training. He is an active fellow who will need lots of exercise, in all kinds of weather. If you are looking for a running, hiking, or power-walking partner, Mickey is your guy. He gets along great with other dogs and would do well with a playmate. Obedience training is recommended to help him become the good canine citizen that he is quite c capable of being. Mickey needs a family who is present a good part of the day; dogs learn nothing in an empty house. If you feel that you can give Mickey his forever home, please fill in the Adoption Form.
