Mémé

A Female Shih Tzu presently Adopted

Mémé is my name and I am without a home – I was embarrassed by the fact that my family never came looking for me but Animatch maintains that I am not an unclaimed stray but rather an unclaimed treasure -- I’ll stick with that!  I am willing to share my home with dogs of any size and cats don’t bother me.  I would prefer an adult-only home — grabby hands and the youthful energy of children is just too much for me. I do love to get gentle scratches behind the ears and nestle in the blankets, and I will stick by your side like glue   If you talk to me in a soft voice, I will show my gratitude with the non-stop wag of my tail. Do you think my loyal personality, mature demeanor, and sweet face are enough for someone to scoop me up?  I am just yearning for a family who will treat me like a princess and give me all the TLC I deserve in my last years.

Before I sign off, I know that you are no doubt asking, “what’s with the onesie?”  I had a few small cysts removed and instead if wearing the old lampshade (Elizabethan collar) I got to try out the new “doggy onesie” which prevents me from licking.  I was so happy to be the first to test one and wear it for my photo shoot.

If you are looking for quiet companionship, then I might be the snuggle buddy you are looking for.   It’s not how much time we have together but making each day count.  Whoever adopts me will be one lucky person.  Can you make that happen?  Fill in the Adoption Form …. I’m ready!

Am I ready for a dog?

Adopting a dog is a life-changing event--or should be. A dog needs lots of time and attention and you've got to be there every day to give it.
