A Male Jack Russell Terrier presently Available For Adoption
Animatch has another JRT! Mask is a two-year-old, male, Jack Russell Terrier, who comes to Animatch via Animal Control – another unclaimed stray. Like all our adoptees, he has been gifted with a forgiving nature and deserves to have a committed home, something he has not yet experienced. Mask is an amazing, little fellow who will be a devoted and loyal companion to his new guardian. Because Animatch believed that he would benefit from added stimulation during his wait for a forever home, FIC (Ecole de Formation des Intervenants Canins du Quebec) has taken him under their wing. Virginie Forest says that he is an A1 student who is super intelligent and wants to learn. If you would like to continue his obedience training, he would be only too happy to oblige. Like all Jack Russels, he learns very quickly; this fellow loves to work. Mask is quite possessive of his food; therefore, he would do better in a home where he is the only pet. Virginie agrees that he would be great for a dog sports enthusiast – agility, fly ball, you name it, he will do it; an activity to engage his mind as well as his body would make him a happy JRT.
Mask would benefit from a home where he is not alone all day; he is not the type of dog who is content to sleep away the hours. Too little exercise, too little companionship, and too little mental stimulation will lead to boredom. A completely fenced yard is a must for Mask in order to keep him safe. Because of his resource guarding, an adult home would best suit him. Insofar as cats are concerned, Mask needs a feline free environment. A home experienced with the breed would be ideal. If that would be you, please fill in the on-line Adoption Form.
