Makita

A Female Mixed Breed presently Adopted

Makita and her littermates, Riyobi, Stihl and Bosch, were brought to Animatch as a result of an unplanned litter, so that Animatch could find them furever homes.  Puppies are all active and these little ones are no different.   They are a mix of breeds that require a huge amount of physical exercise and mental stimulation – in all seasons!  Boredom is not an option!    Makita is not a dog that can just be on the back burner ... she needs a constant presence in her life.  She’s a puppy!  If you bring her into your family, you must have every intention of keeping Makita for her entire life – it’s a 10 to 15-year commitment.  Obedience classes would be recommended for this clever pup.  If you want a well adjusted, well mannered dog you need to invest the time into obedience training.  Of course, she will need work on house training.  A home where she is not alone more than a few hours is a must.  Not only for toilet training reasons is it a requirement, but puppies need constant socialization, supervision, and training throughout the day.  Makita would do better with a guardian who has some experience with an energetic breed.   If you are looking to make a difference in a young puppy’s life, please do consider adopting Makita.  Just fill in the Adoption Form and ask for Makita.
