Lindt

A Female Nordic mix presently Adopted

Meet Lindt, a friendly, kind-hearted, Nordic mix who recently arrived at Animatch thanks to the Nordic Paws Project.  Like all Northern dogs, she has a generous, forgiving spirit and is ready to move on with her life ... right into a loving home.  As is the case with most female, adult, Northern Dogs, Lindt recently had a litter.  Female dogs in the North have puppies not long after their first heat when they are barely more than pups themselves. The overpopulation problem can be overwhelming in some remote communities where veterinary care is nearly non-existent. Her deliciously cute babies – M&M, Chunky, Aero, Whopper, Toblerone, Smarties and Twix – arrived at Animatch with their Mom; in fact, they too will soon be going to their new homes.  It is now Lindt’s time to be pampered and have the opportunity of finding her very own family.   Although Lindt has spent most of her life in the outdoors, she has adapted very well to indoor living, healthy food, fresh water, and a soft bed.  She gets along well with other dogs and would do fine with another canine to show her the ropes.  Basic commands and walking on leash are totally foreign to Lindt; obedience training would be recommended to put the finishing touches on a close to perfect dog.  Being a Northern Dog means lots of walks and exercise – in all kinds of weather.  The cold temperatures and snow will not deter Lindt; in fact, she will love being outdoors with her human.  If you feel that Lindt would be a welcome addition to your family, please fill in the Adoption Form.  She is ready and eager to start her new life.
