Linden

A Female Labrador-x presently Adopted

My name is Linden and although my story started out a bit sad, I know it’s going to have a blockbuster ending!  The Nordic Paws Project found me and my six puppies.  Animatch took us all under their wing and voila ... here I am, happy and healthy and so geared up to start my new life.  We Northern dogs are so resilient.  My puppies (like Mama, all named after trees) are all heading to their new homes very soon; my job is done!  I am only about two years old and you should know that you will be working with clean slate – meaning I need obedience training and socialization!  Everything is foreign to me; car rides, walking on leash, greeting new dogs.  Having Lab in my mix means that only active families should consider adopting me.   I look forward to the day that I can proudly take long walks in my new neighbourhood.  Apart from enjoying the outdoors, my favorite pastime is chewing on my Nylabone, playing with my squeaky toys, lying in the sun – cuddles are the best too!  Now I am definitely not hard to love, but what I need just as much as love is commitment.  My family must accept me as I am – a dog with lots of zip and a zest for life.   I need you to promise that you will keep me safe and take care of me for the rest of my life.  In return, I’ll brighten up your days with my charm and undying devotion.  Whaddya say?  Am I the one?  Fill in the adoption form and ask for me, the name is Linden.

Am I ready for a dog?

Adopting a dog is a life-changing event--or should be. A dog needs lots of time and attention and you've got to be there every day to give it. So, BEFORE filling out the Animatch adoption form, find out whether you're ready for a dog, or would be happier with a goldfish instead: Fill this great questionnaire now to find out if you are ready for a dog.
