Lili

A Female Yorkshire Terrier presently Adopted

Are you looking for a pocket-sized dog with a big attitude?  Then, you are looking for me!  Here I am and my name is Lili.  At 7.5 years old, I find myself in need of a home because I did not get along with the other dogs in the household.  In fact, I must be your one and only dog as my bossy attitude is not a hit with the other canines.  Don’t worry, I alone can fill your days with joy and laughter.  I am a complicated little creature until I am at ease in my surroundings.  You must introduce yourself slow and easy but once I am comfortable with you, I could win a blue ribbon for my cuddling technique. For the most part, very tiny dogs like myself do better in an adult home or one with older children; it is difficult for us to tolerate rambunctious kids who enter our comfort zone or boisterous little ones who can inadvertently step on or hurt a 7-lb dog.  Believe it or not, I need to use my legs; constantly being in my human’s arms will only create an armpit piranha.   Daily walks around the neighbourhood are important to keep me happy and healthy.    If you can offer me a soft bed, two square meals a day, lots of scratches behind the ears, and of course a treat now and then, you might be the one who gets to adopt me.  I’m ready for someone to give me the love that I so miss – and a place to call home.  Won’t you let me be the centre of your universe?  If you are ready to love me and keep me forever, please fill in the Adoption Form.
