A Male Chihuahua presently Adopted

UPDATE:  Lil Bit here and I just want to let you know that if you are interested in adopting me, I won't be available for a few weeks.  I have luxating patellas in both knees (aka trick knees or floating kneecaps) to a degree that I require surgery.  I will be in good hands with Dr. Plasse who will work his magic on me and he has promised me a full recovery.  My activity will be restricted for a few weeks while I recover -- no running, jumping, climbing stairs.  So, I'll check in with you after the surgery and let you know how I am doing.  

 

 

Lil Bit is my name and I’m just counting the days until I can go to a home.  I found myself at Animal Control – they called me an unclaimed stray.  I was positive my family would come looking for me.  They never showed so now I want a family to call my own and let’s make it forever this time.   Because of my recent ordeal, I could use a touch more socialization and encouragement to boost my confidence.  I feel absolutely certain that just a little time in a loving home will do wonders for me.  Tipping the scales at 5 lbs. means that I would do better in an adult home or one with respectful and calm children over 10.  Look at this beautiful face, these soft sweet eyes, don’t you feel your heart melting? Well, for good reason—I am sensitive, affectionate, and very sweet.  I know I will find a wonderful forever family who is willing to make a genuine commitment; you know, a family deserving of a delightful companion not unlike myself.  I am loving and affectionate to all that I meet as long as they are very gentle and respectful of me; in fact, I may have a worried look on my face, but my tail wags non-stop.  I adore curling up on a soft doggy bed, burrowing under the blankets, and a warm inviting lap -- although exercise is important for Chihuahuas too.  Some toilet training may be necessary so you must be willing to work with me on that.  I am ready to take a giant step right into the arms of my new family.  I am the whole package albeit a tiny one.  Please hurry and fill in the Adoption Form.

 

You will be contacted for an interview only if you meet all the criteria and could potentially be a suitable match. Animatch does retain applications for two months and you could be contacted within that period for another dog or puppy.  There is no need to complete more than one application.  Please understand that every decision Animatch makes is with the dog’s best interest in mind.
