A Female Boston Terrier presently Adopted

Landy is amazingly forgiving and resilient despite having suffered loss.  The loss of close to 10 years of her life with a commercial breeder (let’s call a spade a spade …. a puppy mill).  Litter upon litter she produced for these people and no doubt none of the people who bought her puppies ever met her or the many other Boston Terriers and Boxers who were pumping out puppies.  There are always puppies available when you contact these places!  NO questions asked either.  The façade is pretty and clean, but you never see the condition of the dogs like Landy who are behind the scenes doing their “job”.  You might have wished you had known her in her youth but she can still bring you so much happiness.  Despite being blind in both eyes (that is no problem when it comes to producing pups), she manages so well.  One of her eyes is opaque; she may have been born that way or could be a result of an injury.  Don't let her blindness fool you, she keeps a close eye on things with her nose and her ears!  If you hold her in your arms, she will snuggle in to you; surprisingly she still has some trust left.  Animatch is looking for adopters with a lot of heart who are willing to give Landy and the other dogs from this place, a chance to experience what their life should have been.  For Landy, another calm dog in the home would really help to guide her.  Like all breeding dogs, there could be some toilet training to do.  If you would like to adopt Landy, please fill in the Adoption Form.
