Laguna

A Female Mixed Breed presently Adopted

Hey, Laguna here and I like to refer to myself as a “blue box” dog – yup, I’m 100% recyclable.  One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.  I am full of life and overflowing with possibilities. This one-year-old bundle of affection is just waiting for the whole world to open up for me. I absolutely need some work on a leash because I can get worked up a tad when seeing new people and pooches.  Nothing obedience training can’t fix.  I promise to be an excellent student —easy to train and eager to learn (especially if you reward me with a tasty treat).  I am crate trained for those times you can’t watch me but that doesn’t mean I should be spending all day in one.  I’m on the lookout for a family who is not gone all day.  I have some catching up to do insofar as my toilet training goes – who knew that doing my “business” outside is all it takes to make a human happy!  Now then I may eventually need surgery on my two “trick” knees.  I have something called luxating patellas; so, my knees will be monitored over the coming months and surgery may be required at a later date.  In the meantime, I can go to a home and get some exercise to strengthen the muscles supporting my knee.  If you have the good fortune of meeting me, you will also notice that I have a slight neurological problem – nothing serious.  Animatch does not know if it is as a result of an injury or if I was born this way (I’m not telling).   Anyway, enough about me, I want to go back out in the yard so I can play!!!  Sure, I still have some learning to do — greatness doesn’t happen overnight.  It’s a mighty good thing we’ll have many years together!  I’m a real catch for just the right person, so hurry up and fill in that Adoption Form.
