A Male Miniature Poodle presently Adopted
UPDATE: Thanks to all the super people who applied to adopt Kurt -- we received many great applications for this little guy. But Kurt won't be moving anywhere. His Foster Mom who has had him for a few weeks has decided to adopt him.
My canine buddies tell me that life goes on, and so shall mine. I’ve just hit a bump in the road but smooth sailing is promised from now on. My name is Kurt and this is my second time at Animatch. I was adopted last fall and returned – my person was not ready to commit to a dog that is not in tip top shape. If you remember, I was one of the Poodle Dozen and none of us arrived in fine form. We had spent our life with a “breeder” and had received little or no veterinary care. Yes, I do have a heart murmur (3 out of 6) and I was coughing but medication has helped me immensely. I am certainly not ready to “kick the bucket”, no matter what anyone says. Now I can’t wait to get into a new home that I can call my own. I am very shy, but warm up quickly to the people I know. I would do best in a quiet household without small children, as noise and busy environments make me nervous. I have learned to walk on leash – at my own pace of course. I need someone who will be sensitive to my past and take their time to gain my trust. I’m not the most confident boy around—I am more the humble type; you would describe me best as lovable, laid-back, and eager to please. If you are on the lookout for a new best buddy that will do anything for your love…. I can do that! Just fill in the Adoption Form and ask for Kurt.
P.S. I will soon be scheduled for a makeover
“It takes a long time for a soul to become this sweet.”
You will be contacted for an interview only if you meet all the criteria and could potentially be a suitable match.Animatch does retain applications for two months and you could be contacted within that period for another dog or puppy. There is no need to complete more than one application. Please understand that every decision Animatch makes is with the dog’s best interest in mind.
