Jada

A Female Pekingese-x presently Adopted

Jada, a pretty 10-lb., Pekingese mix can’t wait to get started on life as a beloved family pet.  Jada, along with several other dogs, recently arrived at Animatch.  They were dirty, not socialized, and very timid.  They were relinquished by a hoarder who had far too many dog – in fact, so many that their basic needs were not being met.  Sadly, collectors truly believe they are "rescuing" these dogs.  If someone has too many dogs for their municipality but they take care of them, see to their medical needs, and give them a great quality of life, it is unfortunate when they must surrender a dog.  However, when an individual is unable to provide even minimal care, nutrition, sanitary environment, shelter and veterinary care, then there is a problem.  The neglect often results in poor health, not to mention that it produces a fearful and under socialized dog.  For this reason, Animatch felt a responsibility to help these dogs in their rehabilitation.  Behind Jada’s shy exterior lies a girl who is just waiting to experience the joys of just being a dog – one whose eyes will sparkle and tail will wag when given attention.  She will need to be introduced to the fun of daily walks and regular exercise; soon she will look forward to belly rubs and snuggling time.  If you feel that you can make a difference in this dog’s life, please do consider adopting her.  The first step would be to complete the Adoption Form.
