Jackie

A Female Long-haired Chihuahua-x presently Adopted

Puppy mill Moms lack a basic skill – toilet training!  It may be frustrating and require a ton of patience; in addition, all dogs progress within a different time line. Adopting a former breeding dog is a huge commitment, and not one that everyone can, or should, do.  Jackie was adopted by a family who loved her but were overwhelmed by the toilet training aspect.  Animatch is not going to tell you here how to do it as there is enough information that is easily accessible to guide you along the way.  It can be done but time, patience, and consistency are essential.  To rehabilitate a former breeding dog, you’ll need persistence, and a healthy dose of realism.   Jackie is five years old and can’t wait to experience family life again.  She learned a lot while she was with her family – she loves and is confident going on walks, enjoys running in a back yard, and most of all adores curling up in a lap.  Thanks to her previous family, Jackie has also made great progress in trusting humans and is now quite comfortable around them.  If you feel that you can help Jackie through this last hurdle, then please do consider adopting her.  Fill out the Adoption Form and ask for Jackie.
