A Female Nordic mix presently Adopted

Update - October 27:  Hazel here and I know many of you are wondering, “what the heck is going on.”  You must be flabbergasted that a gorgeous Northern girl like me is still in need of a home.  First and foremost, no rookies for me – I am a free-spirited girl who definitely has a mind of her own.  Despite my awesome beauty, I am a resource guarder – yes, even puppies can guard their prize possessions – food, toys, balls, etc.  Now once you do your research on this you will learn that it can be managed – with more optimism and less frustration.  No one knows why some dogs have and some don’t.  Apart from that I am a typical, free-spirited girl who is good natured with everyone I meet.  You must understand that I am not a dog for couch potatoes; I love the great outdoors and require vigorous exercise, especially in winter.  Apartment/condo living is not for me and I would appreciate a fenced yard; we Northern girls like to go in search of adventure.  Of course, signing up for obedience training should be on the “to do” list; although I am an independent thinker, I do aim to please.  At this point in my life, I would do best in a feline free home – I am just too rough and tumble for most cats.  Are you the family who can give me the training, guidance, exercise, and love, too?  Then fill in the Adoption Form and ask for HAZEL.

My name is Hazel and I am a puppy who is looking for action and always ready for fun!  I see the world through my puppy eyes as a place of wonder and curiosity.   You see I am just over two months old and have a long road of learning ahead of me if I am going to be the great dog you are looking for!  With a family who is supportive, consistent, and loving, I know that I can achieve my dream!  I am at Animatch thanks to the Nordic Paws Project.  Needless to say, no puppy comes toilet trained but I am noticing that humans are overjoyed when I do my business outside.  I get along with other dogs and would probably be okay with a cat – as long as they can put up with my youthful exuberance.   I so enjoy sturdy toys – the squeakier the better.  We can play fetch, tug, chase; whatever your game is I am down to play!  This girl just wants to have fun!  I’m still young, so I will need plenty of exercise – every day in all kinds of weather.  I would totally enjoy going to obedience training – make sure you have plenty of treats in your pocket!  I love the sound of my own voice, so I would do better in a house.   If you are ready for the 15-year commitment and would love to watch me grow up to be your new best friend, I’m here and I can’t wait to meet my new family.  Fill in the Adoption Form and ask for Hazel.
