Hatchi

A Male Sheltie x Bernese presently Adopted

Hatchi is my name and I am a four-month-old Sheltie x Bernese – a gorgeous Mutt who will steal your heart with my winning personality and endearing face. Now before you rush to fill out an application, you must be certain that you have what it takes to raise me. I’m going to need loads of patience, time, consistency and understanding. As adorable as I might be, you must be ready to commit to me for the next 12 to 15 years. The reason I am at Animatch is because my family realized that having a puppy was a lot of work and they simply did not have the time. By the way, you will notice in the photos that I have a cast on one of my hind leg. I arrived with a broken leg and the cast has now been removed; I am as good as new. I am a work in progress and with your guidance, I know that I can be an amazing dog. The Sheltie in me is quite evident, I am already nipping at heels and loving the sound of my own voice. One issue that needs to be corrected through training is my mouthiness; Volunteers are not happy with the puncture wounds. I so love to ambush them and nip at their ankles. I have no intention of hurting you but this is where an experienced guardian comes in; one who will work with me, give me enough physical and mental exercise, and provide the socialization that puppies require. I am more than ready to begin obedience training and have no doubt that in no time I will be a good canine citizen. I love the sound of my voice and practice my barking quite frequently, so no apartment or condos for me. I enjoy the company of other dogs and would gladly share my space with a canine sibling. Because of my nipping, I need a home with children over 10. I am ready to devote myself heart and soul to my new family and I promise to bring a lot of love and entertainment in return for a forever home. Would that home be yours? Fill in the Adoption Form if you would like to adopt me.
