A Female Husky-x presently Adopted

My name is Genesis and although my story started out a bit sad, I know it’s going to have a blockbuster ending!   Animatch took me under their wing and voila ... here I am, happy and healthy and so geared up to start my new life.    I am a proud Northern Girl who, thanks to the Northern Paws Project, made the long journey from Whampmagoostui.    Now I am definitely not hard to love, but what I need just as much as love is commitment.  I do get along with other dogs and would love to have a canine brother or sister and would appreciate a family who knows what Huskies are all about.  You must be aware that have an undercoat and we shed large amounts of fur twice a year.  If you brush me every week, especially during my shedding period, we can really eliminate a lot of fur.  It will keep my coat shiny and healthy – best of all, it will be time well spent together.  It is NOT recommended that Huskies be shaved.  I enjoy playing with my furry friends at the Animatch Centre, except they must keep their head out of my food bowl.  You should be aware that most of us who come from the north and who have had to scavenge for food protect our goodies.  Totally reasonable if you know what having an empty stomach is like.  Of course, I’ll need lots of walks and a secure yard to enjoy sunbathing in the snow.  I know that we Huskies have a reputation as independent thinkers but there is something to be gained with obedience training classes.  With desirable awards (aka treats), I will put those Poodles and Shepherds to shame!  My family must accept me as I am – a young dog with lots of zip and a zest for life.   I need you to promise that you will keep me safe and take care of me for the rest of my life.  In return, I’ll brighten up your days with my charm and undying devotion.  Whaddya say?  Am I the one?  Fill in the adoption form and ask for me, the name is Genesis.
