Gaston

A Male Great Dane presently Adopted

My name is Gaston and I’m longing for someone to take me home ... forever this time.   I am one of 17 dogs that were recently transferred to Animatch from a small rescue; unfortunately, the person taking care of us died.  I can’t give you any of my prior history but I was safe, had shelter and food, and felt loved while I was in her care.  My heart has been broken and my whole world has been turned upside down -- again.  After a few days at the Centre, I am not so anxious because I recognize the friendly faces and know that everyone here only wants what is best for me.   Despite all the recent setbacks in my life, my spirit shines through.   I am five years old which for a Great Dane means that I am nice and mellow.  Just because I am quiet does not mean that I do need daily walks.  I should to use my muscles regularly to stay strong and healthy.  After a nice long walk, I am quite content to then go home and chill out with my guardian.  If you sit, I will lay my head in your lap in complete admiration.  My new family will like that I am calm and gentle.  I get along with other dogs, but my happiest moments are when I have the full attention of my human. I’m a great dog who is just waiting to get back to living in my own home, preferably with people who know all about my magnificent breed.   I know that if you meet me, you won’t be able to help falling in love with me.  Is there room in your home and a place in your heart for a gentle giant like me?  Please fill in the Adoption Form if you can give me my furever home.

So, BEFORE filling out the Animatch adoption form, find out whether you're ready for a dog, or would be happier with a goldfish instead: Fill this great questionnaire now to find out if you are ready for a dog.
