A Male Canadian mix presently Adopted

Meet Garcon, a one-year-old, BBD.  He had had some bad luck recently; he was hit by a car and unfortunately his family did not have the money for surgery.  As a result he suffered three fractures in the pelvis.  One required surgery and the other two must heal on their own.  This means that Garcon is on cage rest until January 1st.  Although he is bored and sad, Garcon will make a good recovery if Vet’s orders are followed.  This young dog would love nothing more than to recuperate in his very own home.  Animatch has no history on Garcon but we have found that he is quite fearful around some humans.  After his recuperation period is over, socialization in the form of obedience training would be recommended.  When he is fully recovered, his family must expect to give him the exercise a young dog requires.

The year is coming to an end but the dogs with injuries and special needs just keep on coming.  We appreciate your support through 2017 and will continue to turn to you for help with dogs like Garcon.  Seeing a dog go from a situation with little or no hope to a forever home is our motivation.  If you have everything you need this Christmas, please consider asking friends or family to make a donation to help dogs like Garcon have a happy life.
