A Male Jordanian Mix presently Adopted

Have you always wanted to meet a sensitive guy?   Dook is not a pushy dog; he much prefers to get to know you from afar before he approaches.  He has the most amazing coat and his big brown eyes hide his story.  He has a sketchy past but right now he just wants to focus on his future.  Dook recently made the long journey from Jordan where life for stray dogs is not easy; in fact, Dook is eager to forget.  It’s not easy being homeless anywhere across the globe including right here in our own backyard.  Dook is a gorgeous Jordanian mix who will take some time to regain his trust in two-legged creatures.  Time, training, and patience will help him realize that from now on his contact with humans will be positive and congenial.  Obedience training is essential for him in order to boost his confidence and for his own safety.  At just over one year old, he needs daily walks and play time – a totally new experience for this fellow.  A fenced yard to keep him safe would be ideal … he has not yet mastered the command “come”.  Dook gets along with other dogs and might appreciate a canine sibling to show him the ropes.    Dook can’t wait to find that special someone who will guide him through life.  At the end of the day, all he asks is acceptance and an understanding family who will accept him – quirks and all.  Do you have room in your heart for Dook?  Fill in the adoption form if you are interested in adopting.
