A Female Shih Tzu presently Adopted

My name is Cotija and I am a member of the “cheesy” bunch who were just surrendered to Animatch by a commercial breeder.   I am indeed in need of some TLC.  I possess many qualities but you must be patient; you must understand that your world is totally new to me.  I do know that I have many qualities that are just waiting to surface once I am comfortable in my new environment.  Like most of my friends, I don’t like surprises – I don’t care to be caught, poked or prodded.  Before I arrived, I was never held or cuddled so it isn’t yet in my doggy vocabulary. I prefer that humans go slow and steady and understand my timid nature.   An adult home or one with respectful children over 10 would be my speed.  I get along with dogs and cats; in fact, another well-adjusted dog in the family to show me the ropes would be perfect.  My crate training gets better every day but I will require an understanding person while we work on that whole toilet training thing together.  The more I hear, “good girl”, the more I want to try.   If you have the time to give me and the affection to spare, you could experience the blossoming of my love -- something that no one else has ever experienced coming from me.  You might say that makes it a little special.  Fill in the Adoption Form and ask for Cotija.
