Chuck

A Male Shih Tzu x Pug presently Adopted

I'm back and much as I like everyone around here, I hope that now that I have had a taste of family life it won't be long before I'll be with a family again.  There was no lack of love in the home, it's just that I was causing quite a severe allergic reaction -- bummer!  So, if you have allergies, I'm not the dog for you.  If you are looking for a fun-loving, outgoing, bundle of energy, please consider adopting me.

My name is Chuck and if you like a guy with an underbite, you will find me quite charming.  I bet you’d love to just scoop me up and take me home.  I am full of energy and spunk so I’m on the lookout for an active family.  My mix is an interesting one – Shih Tzu and Pug.  My family felt that I had too much energy for them; Pugs and Shih Tzus can be mellow but not when they are two years old.  I still need guidance and some more training.  If you take me to obedience training classes, we could definitely work on leash walking and my basic commands.   I’m sure I’d graduate at the head of the class.  I can be quite chatty so apartment/condo living would not be for me; in fact, I’d love a fenced yard so I can run around and keep the squirrels off your property.  I have never met a stranger and the humans around here are quite entertaining – they talk to me, cuddle me, and even scratch my tummy!  I admit, I quite enjoy it and I have been promised that this could be a daily occurrence in my new home!  One of the conditions for adopting me is that I will not go with just any family that happens to think I’m the cat’s meow.  Nope, I am not about to leave Animatch unless you are looking for a long-term relationship.  So, think about it.  I know that we can have lots of good times together and I so look forward to a family who will love me forever.  If you would like to adopt me, just fill in the Adoption Form.

You will be contacted for an interview only if you meet all the criteria and could potentially be a suitable match. Animatch does retain applications for two months and you could be contacted within that period for another dog or puppy.  There is no need to complete more than one application.  Please understand that every decision Animatch makes is with the dog’s best interest in mind.
