A Male Schnauzer presently Available For Adoption
Prospective adopters should recognize that having a dog is more than just filling bowls with food and water and going for leisurely walks. Too many people do not comprehend just how much money the family dog may require. Dogs, especially puppies, can be so appealing but before you assume that you are going to add one to your family, you should be sensible about your ability to financially care for a dog. Don’t overlook that as dogs approach middle age, they need to have their teeth cleaned and some may develop other conditions such as dry eyes, crystals or stones, heart conditions, etc. The key word is commitment.
Meet Cesar, a 9.5-year-old loveable Schnauzer who came to Animatch as an unclaimed stray. Honestly, we believe that he was “dumped” – a senior who had outlived his usefulness. To his humans, it was cheaper to get another dog than to have a surgery for the removal of a large bladder stone that left Cesar in great pain. You can see that he is so grateful that the pain is gone; he has ceased whimpering and pacing in agony. In fact, Cesar is proving that he still has a lot of zip in his step and is even showing that he has a playful side. He deserves to be pampered and protected for his remaining years and we know that there is a family out there who is willing to change this boy’s luck around. Since we have no history on Cesar, an adult home or one with older, respectful children would best suit him. This adorable fellow still has so much to offer; in return for a happy retirement home, he promises to be a devoted, lifetime companion. Please consider adopting Cesar and fill in the Adoption Form.
“Some call me a senior dog. That just means that I have years of experience in the fine art of friendship.”
