Butler

A Male Husky presently Adopted

I spent my whole life thinking my humans loved me only to find out that when I wandered off (possibly with a little encouragement from them) they never came looking for me.  Some humans can be quite callous and cowardly.  So here I am at Animatch and relieved that I have a comfortable bed, fresh water, good food, and people who actually care what happens to me.  I am approximately 5 years old and I am on the lookout for an active guardian who understands Huskies.  I get along with other dogs as long as they are not in my face; if I was to be your one and only, I would be fine.  Now if you enjoy being outside in the winter, I’m your guy.  Nothing makes me happier than to be out in the snow by your side – walking, hiking, snow-shoeing – we can even try skijoring.  Since Animatch has no history on me, they feel more comfortable placing me in a home without young children.  It’s never too late for some obedience training and I would be more than happy to train you and become the best dog that I can be.  If you feel that we are meant to be together, please let Animatch know by fill in the Adoption Form.

Our country and our province in particular needs to get this problem of strays under control.  Education and sterilization are the only solution.  We owe it to man’s best friend.  If you are looking for an interesting read on how Holland has become a “stray free” country, take a look:
